One of the great things about designing a kitchen today is...
Palm Beach Kitchen Renovation
Contemporary, streamlined and boasting an extensive list of features and inclusions, this remarkable kitchen is perfect for anyone who loves to entertain. Set in the glorious location of Palm Beach on Sydney’s northern beaches, this home needed a bold, stylish and functional kitchen to match its beautiful surrounds.
Designed by Geoff Little and built by Nouvelle, this stunning modern kitchen features a seamless combination of unique design aspects, high-quality materials, innovative storage solutions and top-of-the-line appliances. The solid timber kitchen servery is made from hand-finished recycled teak, teamed with L-shaped polished concrete supports to add a distinctive and welcoming appeal to the space.
The size of the servery makes entertaining super easy and also offers a comfortable spot for casual dining. The owners’ extensive wine collection sits on eye-catching Starphire glass shelves, with LED strip lighting used to create a further point of interest. There’s even an insulated, integrated stainless-steel channel which covers the width of the kitchen and is ideal for holding cold drinks.
The list of appliances reads like an entertainer’s dream. From the Gaggenau 900mm oven to the Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer dishwasher and in-bench fryer, the kitchen has everything the owners need to throw a memorable dinner party.
Stainless steel and polished concrete feature heavily throughout, and both contrast beautifully with the rich, warm tones of the teak benchtop. Storage solutions also abound in this kitchen, while there’s a welcoming modern charm that draws the family together.
The end result is so impressive that this kitchen won the HIA NSW Most Innovative Use of Materials in a Kitchen or Bathroom for 2008. But more importantly, the owners are thrilled with their stylish, charming and practical space.
